Dr. Brandon E. Robinson
Dr. Brandon Robinson joined the faculty at Wake Forest University in July 2014. As Associate Director of Bands, Dr. Robinson’s duties include marching band (SOTOGAB), wind ensemble, symphonic band, jazz combo (OGJC), basketball and volleyball pep band, jazz saxophone studio, and Arranging for the Athletic Bands. During his time at the University of Mississippi, Dr. Robinson’s graduate teaching assistant duties included supervising student teachers, teaching MUS 103: Introduction to Music for non-music majors, and assisting the jazz ensembles. Prior to Dr. Robinson’s graduate work at Ole Miss, he served on the music faculty at Alcorn State University. In addition to Dr. Robinson’s college teaching experience, he also taught in the public schools in Arkansas for twelve years. Dr. Robinson’s bands consistently received superior ratings in all areas, including marching band, concert band, and jazz band. Dr. Robinson earned a BME (1995) and a MM in instrumental conducting (2007) from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR and a Ph.D. in music education (2014) from the University of Mississippi.
